Exciting News for Pengelly Retreat
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected as a Finalist in the prestigious Cornwall Tourism Awards 2021/22 in the Best Glamping Business category. Hurray! We think our dreamy lakeside yurt and cabin are really special and unique but it’s so nice to hear when other people think so too.
We’re really looking forward to the award ceremony in early February when we’ll discover whether Pengelly Retreat has won a bronze, silver or gold Cornwall Tourism Award. The ceremony is online this year because of covid reasons so we won’t get to meet up in person – but we feel like it’s still a great excuse to get our glad rags on for the occasion. I’m thinking huge pink ballgown Jennifer Lawrence Oscars-style…

We are up against stiff competition with East Thorne Cornwall (https://www.east-thornecornwall.co.uk) and Ekopod (https://www.ekopod.co.uk) also selected in the Best Glamping Business of the Year category. Keep your fingers crossed for us and we’ll keep you posted when we know the results.
