Stayed in the Sail House for 3nts in... Sept 2019. Beautiful relaxed place to stay. The Sail house yurt has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved chilling out at night, having a bbq and lighting the fire pit for a few hours.Well located - just a short drive front Hayle, Helston, St Ives and various beaches. The grounds of Pengelley Retreat are lovely, you’ve got lots of space and privacy. The only people I would not recommend this place to, is if you MUST have WiFi/mobile phone signal - this isn’t the place for you. We actually enjoyed being uncontactable, added to the relaxation. You can always check your phone etc when you head out on a day trip, so it’s no big deal. The Boat House is also beautiful, would definitely recommend the retreat to anyone looking to get away from it all but be well located for day trips out.read more

Stayed here in the Annexe for our... wedding anniversary for 4 nights in September ( 20th-24th ). Was superb. Really chilled out & relaxing. Great place to explore from. 15 mins in either direction will get you to Hayle or Porthleven. The hosts were great. I would recommend this place if you want some quiet with the option to go and look around Cornwall. Will deffo go back & try either the Boat House or the Sail HouseNeil & Sue Cookread more

Stayed at The Annexe off the main house... last summer and it was v enjoyable. The scenery is amazing, especially the lake which you can walk around and the whole place feels v peaceful.read more
